That's so strange! We've had many corrupt people in charge here in Argentina over the years. Some of them were judged and arrested after they finished their term or removed from office thanks to a political trial. I'm not sure if a mayor or president or governor can be in jail while he's still in charge here. |

Crazy enough, there are still a lot of people who support him and think he's doing a good job. (Huh? Really?)
Nikki, I bet Steve Wilson is just giddy with delight!
(Steve Wilson is a reporter who has dogged the mayor's footsteps catching him doing wrong at every possible opportunity.)
what is his reasoning for not stepping down? being a ass hat? |

At this point, I think "In the Ghetto" would be more appropriate.
I just had to add this. A quote from Barbara Rose Collins of the Detroit City Council:
"I think it's kind of silly to lock the mayor up for going to Windsor. Windsor's across the street. I mean, he didn't leave the country!"
So, Windsor, Ontario is across the street from Detroit and is part of the United States. Interesting. |

I really really wish this was a joke. It's beyond sad.
Do you remember the lady who was on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and the question was "what is the only city in the continental U.S. that you have to drive south to get to Canada?
The answer is Detroit. I wouldn't expect everyone to know that but the lady was FROM Detroit and she wasn't sure. She was even saying, "well I know you go south on I-75 but I'm just not sure...."
YOU JUST SAID DRIVE SOUTH TO CANADA LADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stupid people should have to get their mouths sewn shut. They can eat through a tube.
