i was wondering the same thing. are they manaquins (sp?) in store windows? that's kinda sad, lol |

Okay, I checked my AoGG book. I guess the phrase "window friend" was only used in the CBC mini series of Anne of Green Gables starring Megan Follows. (Which I HIGHLY recommend if you haven't seen it! Excellent!) It's used when Anne is explaining to Marilla that her only friend was her reflection in the glass door of a bookcase own by Mrs. Thomas. She called her window friend Katie Maurice. |
