Is it me, or is my point really not that difficult to understand?!?!
Norman Records previously advertised before its release that they had a....
A limited edition (possibly 1000, can't remember) LP of TBWNN. Included with this would be a 7" vinyl that had 4-tracks of unreleased songs. I cannot remember if 'Sailing Away' was one of them or not - but they did not mention any unknown track names.
THIS WAS WRONG! IT DID NOT EXIST! This is my only point. You are talking about "A 7" vinyl" as in the one with Sailing Away on it, I'm talking about "THE vinyl" as in the one we're actually talking about, being the fictitious 4-track EP!!
All make sense? :S
x
No... because THE 7" vinyl you're talking about IS the 7" vinyl they advertised. How can you distinguish between two different things when you don't even know if one exists?? That's my point
This is actually insane. Are you trying to wind me up? You don't have a point! There is only ONE vinyl version of TBWNN. It has the same 12 tracks as listed on the CD and Sailing Away is included on a separate 7" vinyl.
Of course I can distinguish between what I have just described and what was incorrectly advertised, as they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT. It doesn't matter if it existed or not - that's what was put on their website. My only bloody point was to tell someone not go by what Norman Records say, as they were very wide of the mark previously!
I literally have no idea what point you are trying to make sorry. You don't have a 4-track 7" vinyl, and one doesn't exists, so what's your beef?! :)
Wait a minute... i bought my TBWNN vinyl from HMV, and the 7" vinyl with it has 4 tracks, Sailing Away being one of them- can't remember what the others are
Not to get involved in this debate but thought it might help and sort this out, I searched The Boy With No Name vinyl in Google and I found this: HMV- The Boy With No Name vinyl + 7"
