the album flows perfectly.
the production by Godrich is perfect.
the songwriting is the strongest on any travis album.
it is the quintessential Travis album. |

Yeah, Safe is beautiful, but can you believe it wasn't even supposed to be on the album??! The boys don't like the song much, it was Nigel & co who told them they had to use it (and damned right they were, lol :-P). |

Yes I was going to say something along those lines but I wasn't sure. I read in a recent interview that Fran thinks it shouldn't have went on. Yes Fran, it should don't worry. :)
I think Travis have been harsh on some of their songs. Fran says Coming Around shouldn't have been a single, it should have been a b side. A b side!!! Not even an album track!!! Some great b sides, especially The Boys b sides. Great songs. And yet Out In Space made the album... lol (not keen on that one) |

All depends...
For me, this album is the last. TBWNN and The Man Who made history about Travis. Sing is a good single and Travis turned much better since Sing saw the light...
But TIB isn`t my favourite album. |
