That was only half of the question. You have to admit, like the rest of us, the word (probably mothers) sounds like never. No?
There was a thread recently on Eyes Wide Open and someone said "it isn't 'so I can see tee pees when I'm feeling tents' because it doesn't make sense" when that is the actual line. :)
I think it is mothers but it don't sound anything like it! Haha. |

Definitely "mothers". I have a live version of the song, the first line is very clear, and its first word starts off with a full on bilabial consonant... and "mothers" makes more sense than "never".
But I remember the lyrics to the song on the previous site said "never". It could only mean one thing, they use both words when the sing it ;) |

I do hear "mothers" though... Maybe its the weegie-side of me coming out! Although I'm sure to some extent, 'mother' + 'never' can sound similar when they're sung? |

'mothers' 'never' errr to be honest no, I don't think they do sound similar. :)
You're saying that a week ago you would have said the word was 'mothers'? ;) |

Mmm, well you're the only one. Fair enough though.
I would still like Fran to tell us about this. |

I'm surprised he hasn't considering how often he comes around here. :) Must be busy, which is a good thing really. Hopefully getting the business side of things sorted. :) |
