go for it, nothing better than a job you enjoy.
BUT, say or reply to that email saying something like :
"Thank you for your trust and job offer but the wages you're offering are the same as last year and everything went up in prices this year so I don't think I will be able to manage on this salary. I would be really very happy to work in your team again if you were able to make me a better offer in terms of salary and if I could pay for my course half price like I used to."
Then you wait and see and they can only say 2 things :yes or no. If they say yes you win, if they say no you can always say "oh well, ok then I'll take the job anyway". So at the end of the day you've lost nothing and possibly win something.
Go on, try. Believe me, I've learnt over the years to dare to negociate salaries and it does work. |
