Not quite. However anybody who is happy listening to mp3's may as well be deaf. |

That was going to be my next point, since I am deafening I see no need to concern myself with audio quality. |

Well my OH has downloaded a lot of his music from CD's and online and the music output is brill on our tv. We have a 60gb ps3 so it saves LOADS! We use it and our computer to play music....our CD player lies dormant most of the time!
He has just got a new upgrade which comes through the ps3 every so often (not sure the time scale between each update) and it now has divX to play videos etc....way cool.
Even watching movies (blu ray or not) the sound is amazing! I know my bro-in-law has their xbox connected to tv and amps and theirs is brill. Would love an amp for better sound :) Don't think our neighbours would tho as the walls seem paper thin here! |

I wouldn't say I was an audiophile but... I would recommend that anyone buying hifi these days buys seperates, the sound is just so much better and you don't need a professional ear to hear it. Richer Sounds are all over the UK and do some very good deals, my last system (Speakers, Amp, CD Player) cost me £350 about the same as a mid priced all in one unit, plus if any component breaks it's only a matter of replacing it rather than the whole system.

Gladly, have you got the Eyecreate for the ps3 yet? It's the wee camera so when you invite someone to chat you can see them etc. Now it's not great but think they should be improving them soon. We can chat away and watch my nephew and a online ps3 players! Well funny! It's dirt cheap but fun. |
