It's brilliant, isn't it? I'd love to hear that one live. It's been one of my favourite songs ever since it came out. It's a pity that Dougie doesn't get to sing more at gigs (no offence, Fran :) ) I really love his voice, for some reason, I find it quite soothing.
I know what u mean - his voice is lovely!
Ditto. I would love to hear more Dougie live! My favorites would be:
I Forget My Name
and
Just the Faces Change |

OMG, I never knew till now that "The Distance" was sung by Dougie!!!! Wow! I love that song! haha, and when Dougie sings "All the Young Dudes" he makes Fran sound like a worse singer, sorry to say, but true for that particular song. Dougie rules! |

I read in an interview a while ago (around the time of the Singles album/tour) that Fran was prepared to let Dougie take vocals on an album soon- as long as his songs held up. Didn't happen on TBWNN (unless you count Colder- a Payne song, but Fran sang it) so hopefully on the next album we'll get some more Doug vocals! :)
I actually like a lot of Mr Dunlop's songs. Some of my favourite B-sides belong to him, and his co-written songs on the new album are among the best on there i think |

"Ring Out The Bell" just came up in my iPod shuffle, and it is just lovely...not a song that I think about listening to very often... |

When I first heard ''A little bit of soul' I thank that Fran sing that song! Just now 2 months ago ( I downolanded 'A litle bit...' in November 2006) I understood that Dougie sing 'a little..'! |

I have 1 song which sings Andy Dunlop - You Don't Know What I'm Like. It's very good. Do know this? Do you know other Dunlop songs? |
