Nora, I've just had a chance to read about what happened. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I really hope the situation gets better for you. Nora, I think it's wise that you and your mother are prepared in case the situation explodes again. Your father really needs help, and if he can't control himself, the only healthy thing for you and your mum to do is leave.
Nothing like this has ever happened to me so I don't know how I would react, but I'm sure you must be devastated. You have all my support *big hug*.
