I think my favourite first song of a debut album are "Sheepdog" by Mando Diao - such an amazing guitar riff to begin with! It's so simple but yet it just takes you away xD |

True misread the original post to mean first release from a debut album, actual first tracks would be...
One step beyond - Madness from same titled album
Lost Cat - Catatonia from Way Beyond Blue
All that Glitters - Death in Vegas from Dead Elvis
Rhymin' and Stealin' - Beastie Boys from Licensed to Ill
Wake Up and Make Love with Me - Ian Dury from New Boots and Panties
Song for Lindy - Fatboy Slim from Better Living Through Chemistry
Country Song - Happy Mondays from Bummed
Janie Jones - The Clash from self titled album.

*edit* Reverend Black Grape - Black Grape from It's Great When You're Straight...Yeah |

Another one is 'Get Miles' off of Gomez's first album Bring It On. If you haven't heard this album, then buy it, borrow it or steal it because it's magnificent. |

I second that statement, GET THAT ALBUM, it's worth it alone for Whippin' Picadilly, or 78 Stone Wobble even though the full album is amazing.

Moray,
I know you are drunk. So I won't give you too much crap. But you're suppose to name your favorite 1st track, as in, tracklisting is ONE, from a debut album.
