Kristy, I don't get how your theater is putting people's lives in danger. You're not forcing people to come- you're even giving them an option to come another time at no extra cost to them.
Too bad so sad that this is the only night she can come but it seems more logical for her to go outside and scream the same message at the snow.
Let me know if you want me to call her and have a little chat with her. |

she called the box office and complained to them too. She got that answer from them: "no one is forcing you to come, ma'am." And then she was concerned that we are putting the actors lives in danger too. Lady, we put them up in a hotel a block away for the weekend so they wouldnt have to drive.
I told them about the "what did you do in the winter of 77?" and everyone started laughing, but someone who has been here that long said "actually, i think the show went on."
I just dont understand what she thinks screaming at me is going to do. Does she think I have the authority to cancel a show because she yells a lot?
You can just send her mean nasty thoughts.
BUT the props dept is ordering us chinese food for lunch which makes me happier. And a very nice old British man just called and politly asked about exchanging his tickets and called me dear. I like him and wish he was here to give me an old British man hug.
edit-my next call was a nice old British lady! These people are calling because they heard about mean person and are soothing me with their accents, Im sure.
edit 2-one of my coworkers just called and said i could forward calls to her if they were being mean. Aww, faith in humanity restored. |

It's so cooooooaaaaalllllld in the D! Well, actually it is warmer than last Friday--that was insane.
Here is a picture of my house taken 5 minutes ago.
And you can't really see the numbers on my ruler, but it's a good 9 inches deep.

Is it true that if you put a piece of bologna on a car while it's frozen outside if someone tries to pull it off it'll take the paint off?
Edit: the jury is mixed

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are forever known as "sock cocks" here. The name gives you all the information you need to know of their "clothing" at a festival years ago.
About the weather, not looking good for White Christmas, it's too warm and wet everywhere. I'm glad I bought Gore-tex boots. |

this has nothing to do with weather, but since im already ranting today...I dislike people who on their way out say: "see you January 5th!"
blargh. The only days i have off are Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years Day. So anyone that wants to be keep the board busy on Christmas Eve and and New Years eve will get lots of Kristy love as I will be sitting at my desk crying.
Oh, here is a weather thing. Im leaving in a few and have to clean my car since no one volunteered. Im scared to see it.
edit: for anyone who cares, and im sure that is none of you but someone should know... I made it home alive. The main streets were okay but it took me 20 minutes and 4 people pushing to get me out of the parking lot! and then i got stuck at the first stop sign while some moron was trying to give me hand signals about which way i should go. Im sorry, do you not see my wheels spinning and me not going anywhere? And then my street wasnt plowed so i had to giver to get over a giant mound of snow at the end of my steet and giver again to get in my driveway.
ALIVE!
This is my window at work today. Nice view, eh?
And this is the snow, above my boot, in the parking lot
