We skipped day 8. Too busy.
Woke up early today. After that crazy run 2 days ago, I hurt my back and had a physiotherapist come out yesterday to crack me up a little. Today feels better.
I lay in bed and reviewed what we have been doing, texted Michael some notes and wandered downstairs. Dougie , Neil and Andy all went out running. The weather has turned over the past few days. It's gotten windy and the temperature has dropped. I'm secretly glad I don't have to run. Wind is my least favourite element. Andy got the fear running over the big bridge today. There's not alot of room for maneuver up there.
So today Michael thinned out the production on Warning sign. Sounding v good now. We moved on to another Andy song called Boxes. I love the lyric in this one. All about playing, living and after we die getting buried in one. Andy has done his best ever work for this record.
While we tracked, the chef was frying bacon and very strong fish. The smell combination made me feel sick as a dog. I passed on dinner tonight... and sit here writing this ere diary.
We're on course to get wrapped up by the 5th of November. We're on song 7 now. All sounding better than we have sounded in ages. I think it's the combination of having a long break, writing as a group, Michael Ilbert's dope skills, fresh air, this incredible studio and us all being clear about what we want.
It's exciting to be here.
Now I'm going back to watching the Justin Bieber documentary.
