Today we all went to a swimming pool outside London where we were given a bullet training session in breathing compressed air in deep water. We are taught by Dan and Zena. They both are professional divers and will be present for day 1 of the shoot. Breathing underwater is the coolest. It's defying nature.
From sea level to outer space the pressure is 1 Atmosphere. From sea level to ten meteres down the pressure is 2 atmospheres. My ears can't take the pressure. You've got to pop your ears like you would on an aeroplane.
After this it's over to Vauxhall where I have to have a plain kilt fitted. I wanted to wear a kilt because I like them. It's plain because I think tartan is old and fuddy duddy. Ellen our stylist has made two kilts from scratch. Dougie and I are impressed. We had been told by a kilt shop that it would take six weeks to make one kilt. Ellen did two in 12 hours. 6 weeks, pah!!
Dougie has a good old laugh at my wee skinny legs popping out the bottom like two burnt matchsticks. I have no fear. Nor shame it would seem. A laugh out of Dougie is a green light to go do it.
