A fairly regular topic of debate amongst our friends and family is: what songs should never be covered because they are almost too perfect in their original form? To try and cover them would be to mess with perfection, or could result in them being butchered?
Personally I usually say The Beach Boys ‘God only knows’, and REM ‘At my most beautiful’.
Any thoughts?
