I have a collection of Travis Promos, Singles 1 and 2 and LPs as well as some random stuff. I collected these things when I was quite young. I adored Travis from a very young age and they were a huge part of my life. I had quite a long time where I was very unwell within myself and for about 15 years I was unable to listen to the band that was my heartbeat as a young person growing up in Scotland. I’m finally diagnosed and medicated and once more finally able to listen to my favourite band. It’s been amazing having them back in my life. When I was younger I maybe thought I had to collect them to feel a certain way or safe. I’m ready to let go of that comfort blanket now. If anyone wants to send me an offer for my collection then please go ahead. Equally if anyone wants to tell me their story re: Travis and also needs that comfort blanket right now – then feel free also. Take care fellow kids – I mean Travis fans. And thank you Travis for keeping me on this earth. It does get better. X
