      Hi everybody
      How you doing?
Hope you’re having a good summer.
I’m just back from a lovely week in
Corfu. A place I went to a lot as a teen,
but hadn’t been back to in 36 years!
It hasn’t changed a bit. Fantastic.
Anybody been anywhere nice? Any holiday destination suggestions?
      Xd

I went to Corfu as a teenager too! My brother and I got so drunk on, not Ouzo, the other one? I decided to try to swim to the mainland and my brother dug himself a hole on the beach because he thought that would make him feel better. Our sister had to pay two massive German guys to fling us over their shoulders and dump us in a taxi, where we taught the driver to sing the Jeely Piece song. Good times.

Hi Dougie! Your holiday sounds absolutely wonderful. I’d love to travel too, but I’ve been so busy lately — hopefully I’ll have some time later this year. I went to Dalian in China back in January, and it was actually my first time seeing snow! It also has a beautiful coastline, a bit like my hometown but even more stunning. The seafood there was amazing. Highly recommend!

Hi Dougie! I’m fine I’m doing well! It’s sunny, but the real summer vacation is still to come, and the best place to go is the beach. I’ve watched this place evolve from a wild, deserted, and idyllic beach that hardly anyone knew about into a tourist hotspot that looks more like a small, artificial set far removed from the actual locals. It’s interesting to just sit and observe the tourists’ habits.

Went to a seaside village in Scotland and loved every minute!

      Hi Dougie!

      Corfu sounds relaxing. 🙂

I took a 700 mile solo roadtrip down from Minnesota to Kentucky, following Dave Matthews Band, family research, aaaand an insane storm cell. I took a pitstop to visit Billy Corgan’s tea house near Chicago. As it was a music themed trip, I tried to go to Paisley Park in Minneapolis but was there the one day of the week they’re closed 🤦‍♀️.

I bet six states in a week is nothing to you all, with decades of touring, but I’m maybe still tired from my trip. 😂 Deffo worth it!

Hi Dougie! It’s on my list of the (many) places to visit.😎 And that’s rare to find places that don’t change with time. Lovely to hear. Nothing to recommend that you prolly haven’t already seen.
