Happy World Cup day everybody!
Have finally got excited about this one,
using a combination of panini stickers
and getting the family matching Scotland tops (the red away strip is a beaut).
I feel us getting past the first round this time. But my money is on Portugal for the whole thing. Enjoy! Xd -

Incredibly, I’m a Brazilian who doesn’t like or follow football (except when I’m playing video games), but in the good old days as a child I always cheered for Scotland, remembering you all, and I saw that own goal scored with the shoulder.
Here it’s still in its early stages, but I’ve already seen flags on houses, painted streets, and shops trying to sell World Cup-related items.
Overall, it’s a good opportunity to go out and join strangers and acquaintances, because here we like to celebrate just like you do. 🏴❤️🇧🇷 🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉 -

Well, neither of my two teams Venezuela (La Vinotinto) and Chile (La Roja) didn’t make to this World Cup.. But still excited to watch the upcoming matchs!!
At least Danny Ocean, the guy of the song “Me Rehuso” who’s from my homeland, is performing at today’s World Cup Opening Ceremony!

I’m excited about football. Not so excited about what some people in power have done to my country, my city (Mexico City) and the people living in it. Sorry, I just had to take it out of my chest 🫢.
On another note, my heart goes to Scotland. And I support every Latin American team. I don’t have very high hopes for Mexico, honestly.

I love football! I’m a huge Boca Juniors fan. However, I’m not as excited for this World Cup as I’ve been for the others, tbh. I’m from Argentina and things are very bad in our country, and our players (though excellent players as they are) have not really been up to many people’s expectations as role models… We sadly and greatly miss our Diego Maradona.
Anyhow, all that said, I’m in a couple of football pools with different groups of friends, and the prize in one of them is 1 kg of gelato, so I’m eager to win! My bet is on Spain this time around. 😉

I opted to work all 3 matches so Scottish people get a chance to watch it. Don’t think I’ve watched a World Cup since 2014 so doubt I’ll watch this one either.

Hi Dougie, hi everyone! I hope Scotland does well, I’ll try to watch their matches. They say Portugal will win this World Cup…who knows?
I’m going to support Scotland, of course. Argentina is the reigning champion, with an excellent tournament in 2022, so I think we won’t win this time and I’m not looking forward to it much. -
