Fan face photos on first album

Hi! When your first album came out, ahead of its launch you asked for us early fans to send in our photos and a lucky few dozen of us are now smiling out at the world from the album sleeve! I first saw you play live when you supported the LongPigs and Embrace at the Royal Court in Liverpool, before the album came out. I was on the LongPigs guest list (I did a fanzine for them) and we met you after the show in a very dingy backstage room! The next morning, your hotel was I think the old Ibis or maybe a Campanile by the Albert Dock and completely by coincidence you were getting in your van as we were crossing the carpark. We had another good chat and you signed pages in my autograph book, in fact you all wrote loads on there as we’d had a good aftershow party and you all were in high spirits! I still have that book, and your writings and funny messages in it from the early days. Your van had trouble starting too, so I fixed it for you. Happy memories. I couldn’t get to the recent gig you played at Llandudno which is near where I live, but I did meet Simple Minds guitarist Charlie Burchill in Verona before their gig there last year and we spoke about you as a fellow Scottish band. I often wonder if you remember that gig in Liverpool and also if there would be any plans to get those faces on the first album together at any point, for a new set of photos!
