Just got back from seeing the guys in Bournemouth and I have to say it was amazing.

It's the first time I've seen the band live and it was awsome.

Highlights of the evening for me have to be Side, Driftwood, All I want to do is Rock, U16 Girls and..... well I could go on every song was amazing actually.

Side seemed to stand out for me as it just sounded great tonight.

Apparently the guys had been playing crazy golf today and Dougie managed to get himself sunburnt.

Overall it was a great gig with a pretty good audience.

Can't wait to see them again sometime, not sure when yet though but I really hope its soon.

Oh yeah and the new site looks great as well.

I think from what I remember it was as follows, although it was probably in a slightly different order (this is how i think it went):

- Eyes Wide Open
- Writing to Reach You
- Pipe Dreams
- Selfish Jean
- My Eyes
- As You Are
- Sing
- All I want to do is Rock
- Side
- Driftwood
- Colder
- Love Will Come Through
- Good Feeling
- Closer
- U16 Girls
- Flowers in the Window (Acoustic)
- Turn
- Why does it always rain on me?

Ok I think that's it. They definetly played these songs but I can't remember the exact order of the songs in the middle. They were on for about an hour and 10 - 20 mins.

The only one I would have liked them to play that they didn't was Happy. The other surpriseing thing is that they only played one song from 12 Memories.

It was pretty cool though to see them walking in from the back. Took a lot of people by surprise including the girl who had no idea what was going on and pushed Fran away when he put his arm around her. Lol. I just wish I was stood slightly more to the left of where I was as I might have then has a chance of meeting them.

I was pretty cream crackered last night when I first posted this but it was a pretty awsome gig overall. Even my friends who aren't really Travis fans thought it was pretty good.

It's probably the only gig ive been to where I knew every song and the words to every song. :)

I just hope I get the chance to see them again some time, they are personally my favourite band and its unlikely that i'll get to see a better gig.

Yeah you should get U16 girls.

I look forward to seeing the videos. I took some on my phone of Selfish Jean and My Eyes but unfortunatly the quality is rubbish. I can just about make out the words but there is a lot of fuzzy background noise.

Cheers guys.

Saw Travis in London about 5 years ago but have been a fan of theirs since before then. Went to the Bournemouth gig and it was fantastic. They haven't changed at all - just as friendly and genuine now as they always were and totally unaffected by success. I was one of the first ones in so was about 4 feet from the barrier and was singing and jumping with the best of them. Think I was probably the oldest fan there and would have loved to have met them. Sad I know for a 61 year old!!

I was stood near a guy with a bald head who was videoing most of the gig. Just looked at your pic but don't recognise you. I want to see Travis again soon
