Some of you may remember that my children gave me a dress that I found very amusing as it is not something I would ever wear. Too sparkly....too...not me.

A friend dared me to wear it to a Ladies' Nite. I warned her that my goal was to look as ridiculous as possible. So I wore A LOT of make-up. When she picked me up she about died and said she didn't even want to be seen with me. In the 4+ years we've been friends I've never once been able to embarrass her so I refused to take any of the make-up off. We went to the club and she said that practically every girl was giving me a dirty look when I walked by - either a "what the heck??" look or a "what a floozy", etc. My friend said I looked like a $20 hooker. I was offended and said I felt I was worth $100. I asked two guys- one said $200 and one said $1,000 so she REALLY undervalued me.

The best part was watching this one dude dance. I cannot possibly describe his dance moves but of course I took video and hope to have it up soon.

After we went to this place that had karaoke. I performed "Son of a Preacher Man" under the name of Cinnamon and "Dancing Queen" under the name Muffy. The funniest thing there were some girls who were also singing and watching and they were applauding for everyone. But when I came off stage? They had their arms crossed and were giving me dirty looks to my face! I think it's because I rocked on both of the songs and they didn't expect the girl with blue eye shadow up to her hairline to be able to sing.

I have to say it was interesting to be so hated across the board by women. And except for approaching two guys who were standing by themselves and speaking them for 2 seconds I didn't speak to one guy, let alone flirt or anything. So it was simply because of my dress and make up!

Excellent! :D

And other girls are weird. Went out for my sister's bachelorette party in July, and they almost got into a fight with a girl because they complimented her on her shoes! What?

This makes absolutely no sense. I can only hope the girl was drunk.

Probably. It was closing time, I'm fairly certain everybody was drunk at that point. :D

Wow Anne, that's some get up you got there. I think I would have assumed you were super high if I saw ya.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if someone is that expensive they're usually at a bunny ranch... or an "escort"

I'm not super familiar with the hooker world but I believe you are correct. My point was the absence of track marks and the fact that I had all my teeth made me at least worth a triple digit number. IMHO.

Carla, LOL that you would have just assumed I was high!

Yes I guess that's a fair question! I just assumed she would have thought I looked so nuts I must be on drugs. Which I thought it would be clear that I was joking but my friend said, no....people think you're serious.

High as in on drugs. And I mean like things in the inhalant category such as some household cleaning product or the likes ;)
