That's very sweet, and a good story to boot! I hadn't seen that blog the other day either.
I've never heard of making wishes from treetops, skyscrapers, etc. Perhaps I'll have to try it sometime (because I'm climbing very tall trees and such so much anyway : P). Personally, I always make wishes at 11:11. I wonder who comes up with these crazy wish practices in the first place? And when do you EVER actually see a falling star?!

I've seen a fair few, they can be quite common. Saw one a few weeks back when we went to cyprus. We had a villa and if you stood outside (and waiting for the motion sensor lights to switch off!) the view of stars was amazing. But what's even more awesome is I saw a shooting star on the night of the millennium! :D (and no, it definitely wasn't a firework lol). |
