I´m living near Barcelona & lived there for 16 years.. You can´t miss "Park Güell". I recommend you to go to "El Tibidabo" where you´ll have a spectacular view of the city. La "Sagrada familia" is spectacular (a famous cathedral)Well... Barcelona is a spectacular city. I´m sure you´ll love it. If you have any peculiar question you can add me to msn... yulen10@hotmail.com or find me in facebook :) |

What is butifarra? All my life I've heard people talking about that, but I think I've never eaten it ^^ |

Well, we can finish the lunch with a dessert: "catalan cream" CREMA CATALANA. I promise I stop showing images (I´ve just learnt to show them & I feel like a kid.... )

Yes, of course. In fact lots of people finish late their work day. ( 7 p.m for example). Well... "olé olé in the street" in the parties of the villages or at night going out after having some drinks.( The ones who do it) (That´s what I think). We´re very nice people, but serious too.. :)

Ask for "La Villa Olímpica" or Maremagnum. Typical zone where tourists go.
You´ve got a posher zone in Marià Cubí or Balmes (Foreign people who live in Barcelona usually go there too).
In the zone of "Barrio gótico" you can drink "beer" & "sangría" (In Las Ramblas too...)
A really beautiful bar to have coffee or drinks (don´t know mojitos) is El Bosc de les Fades (is next to the Wax Museum), near the sea (Colon Monument). Look at the picture:
There are lots of places. |
