I just picked my daughter up from her science day-camp (which is soooo cool, I must say) and I let her watch the Barcelona video. She really liked the song and by the end I could hear her humming along with the la la la's. She asked me,
"How are all these people getting Flat Travises like ours?"
--It's the same one.
"Oh, so it's traveling around the world?"
--Yes.
"Well, who's going to keep it forever?"
--We're hoping to give it to Fran, the singer.
"Oh, so you know him?"
That made me laugh, of course because of the Paul McCartney thing a while back.

I woke up at 3:15AM for some unknown reason, like I have been every night for the past 2 weeks. I realized it is gonna be hard for Eledh to get FT in the mail because she will traveling all over the place.

Since Flower_in_the_Window is doing hers with Paul and Gladly in Edinburgh on Sept. 25, would Gladly be willing to take FT and give it to Eledh in Manchester on September 28? (I realize this thing isn't his kinda bag.)

This is getting so complex!

Yikes. This may sound counter-intuitive but I've heard when your body has formed a weird wake-up routine like this you can break it by setting your alarm for a few minutes before. Say 3:10. Then the next night do 3:05. Then try to go back to sleep. If you can't get up so your body doesn't associate the bed with not sleeping and read or something relaxing for a few minutes.

Keep doing different times for a few nights.

If you're waking up anyway, worth a try, right?

(my hubby has a lot of sleep problems too)

"Well, I'm accustomed to a smooth ride
Or maybe I'm a dog who's lost its bite.
I don't expect to be treated like a fool no more
I don't expect to sleep through the night."
