FYI-- the author of the list (Christian Lander) is white. This is him:

Oh, come on. You think you're too good for this list, aye? I'll just bet there's a motion sensor light at the ol' Mozman palace. |

I think it's just a guy making fun of his own Yuppie-ness. Kinda in the same way that Jeff Foxworthy talks about Rednecks. Just recognizing funny things about your own group. No big deeeeeal. |

Yeah you're probably right, I'm just pissed off, I just think equality and racism should apply across the spectrum.

I get your annoyance because it sometimes feels like a white person doesn't have a culture - in that they're aren't "European American Music Award" Shows but there certainly are award shows celebrating African Americans and Hispanics, etc.
I don't have any problem celebrating all cultures but yeah, sometimes it feels a but unequal.
But that being said I agree with Turtleneck that it's more making fun of yuppie hipsters. And really those folks can be any color or race. It's just funnier to say white people. |

ketchup -- Not a big fan
sandwiches on white bread -- Whole grain at a minimum
extra cheese on pizza -- would prefer sausage
old jeans -- OK
minivans -- gone, baby, gone
lawn sprinklers -- got me there
edged lawns -- all natural here
motion sensor security lights -- not a one
TV -- does having 5 really count?
craft fairs -- no way in Hell
white sneakers -- Adidas Sambas...no white for me.
message T-shirts -- nope
golf -- I only wish
carpet -- some, but hardwoods on the whole lower floor
potatoes -- too starchy
hockey -- could care less
boy...don't lump me in with this list...LOL

My comments are above....maybe it's because I was born in NYC and raised near there my whole life??

I cannot deny that I love having gay friends (ask the poor lesbian couple in my neighborhood that I stalked, I mean befriended) and Whole Foods. |
