hey kiddo,
did you see that tribute song to Ronnie Drew ("the ballad of ronnie drew") that was released last month? it's kind of like a "do they know it's christmas" but for cancer. what do you think of it? i think it's rather toe-curling (like most charity songs).
it's on youtube from the late late performance.

O' Connor shoulda had a solo... Damo did!(did good too).

Oh and the Hot house flowers are playing in New Hampshire again... Ms. Jones would LOVE it.. its an intimate venue and great craic (bring your own beer!).. I cant go though but I do recommend it.

Hadnt heard anything about this. Must check the youtube link in a bit. Was enjoying the late late clip, thanks Emma :0) but then computer went arseways. Strange to see Ronnie without the mop of hair and beard :0( But yeah he is a legend in Irish Music. Thaks for the heads up Haz. |
