Libertad, Velvet Revolver's new cd. Really excellent!!! I highly recommend it. Scott really takes you on a journey with his many different vocal styles. He is definitely all over the map there. It's really cool!!! This album is very melodic and more poppy than their last one. Very 70s sounding. Ok ok, i know, but i do love the 70s sound. That country tune...the music is good, but Scott well he just doesn't seem to grasp what it takes to be a country singer. There's no convincing me there. LOL

I did have to get over the intros to most of their new stuff...you just kept thinking Fall to Pieces...bam...there it is again. Slash's guitar was mixed too high. Kind of overbearing and runs completely over the vocals. Scott's lyrics do not preach this time around. That annoyed me in Contraband. Ha, i'm never satisfied.

But overall, I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

Oh yeah, and they do a cover of ELO's Can't get it out of my head. That seems to be popping up everywhere. But i can't complain, i love ELO.

The new Stars album 'In The Bedroom In The War'

Such an under-rated band!
