Tom Hobden violin:

1 In the morning
3 Sing Me To Sleep
9 Rocking Chair (with a solo)

Tom Hobden

Tom plays in a band called Noah And The Whale. Their new album The First Days Of Spring, was produced by Emery. It’s brilliant. Buy it. Tom played on wreckorder. He features on 3 songs. 1, 2 and 7, prominently in 7 with a powerful violin solo… his playing is very distinct… he prefers to bow chords and notes together so you get the sound of 2 or 3 violins at once…

The First Days of Spring is probably the best album I've heard in the last 12 months, it's amazing. "Blue Skies" is a masterpiece of a song.

I agree. It's brilliant. My favourite song is The First Days Of Spring. I shiver every time I listen to it. I'm mesmerized by it! Tom Hobden is awesome. Can't wait to listen to his solo!
