16. Hug a stranger

this one can be easily accomplished:

The Free Hug people were out in Millennium Park in Chicago when we had the ABC.

In Madrid, I saw a group of them desperately trying to get people to hug them, but they were right in the middle of the main shopping area and people were afraid they'd steal their wallets.

I don't really like my previous list, I thiiiink I wrote it in a hurry. Hrmph. Can I start over? Ok, I will, anyway.

1. graduate from university (March 2010, PLEASE!), then go travelling for a few weeks (sigh), then come back and get a JOB.
2. learn to speak and write Farsi fluently (started taking classes in October)
3. get an Iranian passport
4. master the art of Persian cooking. sigh.
5. write a book
6. work for a charity/NGO - or at the "Goethe Institute"
7. travel the US East Coast
8. get rid of my stupid German accent when speaking English
9. get back my PIANO (or buy a new one). I really really miss playing it :(
10. learn to play the guitar properly (need new strings first)
11. learn to draw a human face
12. pay back my student loan (this should probably be No.2 on the list)
13. hold an owl
14. work in the UK for some time
15. write articles for a magazine
16. wear an evening gown (lol, seriously, I've never done that)
17. see more of Europe
18. donate money and time to help elderly people (they're completely left out these days, it's SO sad!!)
19. go to a grand wedding (never really been to one)
20. buy a house with a rose-garden for my mum
21. run my own café
22. have kids.
23. learn to ski (not because I really really want to, but to make people STOP yelling "WHAT? YOU DON'T SKI? Buy you live near the mountains, you HAVE to know how to ski!" at me. They do that.)
24. find Matthew, the boy who gave me a polka-dotted red ball in a hotel lobby in Corfu 23 years ago.
25. write a guide on Munich's bars and cafés that's actually accurate.
26. wear high heels without embarrassing myself (not going to happen, I think)
27. date a musician (cello, piano, sth like that. sigh.)
28. ...

added some more.

I think I would kill myself (Sunny Bono style) if I tried to ski or snowboard. I agree with you on graduating/ paying back loans! But again I have no idea what I would like to do. I just agree with other people: seeing Travis in Glasgow, actually visiting/ living in Scotland (which has always been a dream of mine), going to Isreal, visit a monk, travel worldwide working for an NGO (which with my degree, if I ever acheive it, should be something I can do. Its a lot to think about and I don't have time but I like what everyone has came up with! Minmess and Moray have came up with some of the unique yet endearing goals. I like the goals a LOT! Great job guys!

LOL I second the "Find Matthew" campaign. I do not know you all very well Minmess but you could be right! I like to think of myself that way but I know I am just ordinary lol. I do like your goals, they are always something I have thought about but never took the time to really THINK it out, you know what I mean?

Sigh.
I think it would be hopeless. I don't know his last name, for example. I'm pretty sure we used to have a picture of him, but I can't FIND it!!! I was on a holiday with my dad (best holidays ever, we ate watermelon all day and I got to wear the prettiest summerdress of my life) and one day, Matthew came to me and handed me the red ball.

And now I'd like to thank him, because I couldn't do it back then, being totally overwhelmed by his kindness and the beauty of the polka dots. And it would be nice to know WHY he gave it to me in the first place ;D

And what if he is out there, searching for you? The little girl in the pretty summer dress who smelled like watermelon. He gave you a polka dot ball so you would remember him. It could be a movie!

You can find the ball AND the boy!
Find the picture and we will do one of those age progression things to figure out what he looks like now.

I am sure he won't be horrible (he sounded too nice to have become a crackhead or something like that). I really hope you consider finding him! I have no idea where to even begin but it would be interesting.
