argh! still no baby! i did my best to take it easy yesterday...go to the movies, have a nice lunch, go shopping/walking, etc. and nothing! what do i have to do to entice him to come out?! my next doctor's appt. is on tues. which i'm still hoping i won't make :).
i still have two more days before he's "overdue". there's always induction but if there's no medical reason for doing so, i'll avoid the unnecessary medication...

I'm with you on that but keep in mind that when you schedule an induction it's usually 5-7 days away. You might consider just getting something on the books when you go in just so you don't get to a miserable point and then still have to wait.
I agreed to an induction with my second one and went into labor that night so maybe it'll work for you. Of course I wasn't even to my due date but was dilating to such a crazy amount that they knew it wouldn't take much to get it going.
(I was 5cm and 80% with my first and 4cm and 85% with my second before I went in labor) |

I've been 1.5 cm dilated 50% effaced for the past 3-4 appts. I guess I can only control so much. As long as he's healthy, I'll just have to suck it up... |

I think he's going to come when he wants no matter what you do so just try and do what makes you feel good.
I feel your pain though. I know it totally stinks. |

We just had a freakin' hail storm here (same as last summer which cost us $15K in damages--thank goodness for insurance!). Anyway, was almost sure that I'd go into labor right then...
...but oh no. |

That waiting must drive you insane! I'm sending you good vibes from the south :) .
I'm glad that at least he waited to the storm to pass! |
