yes, but I rarely watch it because of the number of games that are on CBC, TSN, Sportsnet, etc. All of our regular sports stations carry an exorbanant amount of games. |

just read this:
Obama doesn't win them all
First Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama bumped the Senators from their practice time at the BankAtlantic Centre yesterday, then he disrupted their hotel.
Obama, in south Florida for a campaign stop, stayed at the team's hotel before last night's rally. That meant high security inside and outside the hotel, which also closed the pool and the gym.
There was one thing Obama couldn't get: the presidential suite. That's because Senators general manager Bryan Murray had it.
edit: I sent the above story to a friend in Ottawa, and she replied with "they must have been mad that they couldnt get in the gym and use the bikes. Everyone knows how much they love their bikes." Yes, even Shanny knows

And why exactly does Darran change the title of this thread every day? |

Because it was originally a thread about Brendan Shanahan for only Nikki and Kristy but after 80 odd views and it going way off into allsorts of random wafflings I thought I'd go with the flow. |

Wow!!! Harsh words, but SO right on! Ah! I agree 100 percent! He's a good player, but he's not any more special or skilled than the other great players in the league. It's so annoying how he's the ONE poster child and get's all the attention. I think it's backfired on the NHL. Everyone hates him now, lol.
Edit: Plus, he didn't do CRAP against the Wings in the playoffs. He was horrible!! He got schooled by the likes of Franzen, Zetterberg and Datsyuk.

Hmmmmm. I see the likeness...but Shanny looks more Italian than Irish in bobblehead form, LOL! His nose isn't that big and he's waaaay hotter in real life. :P But still a very cute bobbleehead. I'm going to take a picture of my Stevie bobblehead for you tomorrow.
And LMAO at Pat Sajack!!! How random! Seems like the glass is breaking a lot this year.
Edit: Oh yeah! And I have a Yzerman action figure too! LOL! Cuz I'm cool like that. ;) It's somewhere in my closet. I'll try to find it and take a picture of that as well. He comes with a hockey stick. hehe! |

as i was posting the picture i thought "this doesnt look as much like shanny as i thought." i think in real life it does a bit more.
I have a Messier action figure and bobblehead so we are equally cool, lol. And several beanie babies that i got when i was 11.
There is a whole collection in a cupboard...Shanny, Messier, Brodeaur, Koivu, a bunch of Toronto Blue Jays and the Beatles. Such an interesting mix!
Remember when bobbleheads were cool?
ya, Pat Sajack had really good seats too! Maybe him and Vana share a season ticket package. |
