| Lordy I leave you alone for a few days and you start another exchange - ye hey - AND the thread gets hijacked again for Hockey. I like the secret or not so secret santa idea with a $/£ limit on it best - or chocolate, you can never go wrong with chocolate! |

the thing with chocolate is: people getting chocolate from Switzerland, Belgium and Germany would have a greeeeat advantage ;p
I'm all for the secret - or not so secret - santa. with a £/$/€ price limit, and maybe even a "no food" rule? (I'm a great fan of international cuisine, but I don't want to risk getting christmas pudding etc ;p) |

and maybe it cant be all food? like if you want to throw in some sorta treat, but there should also be something else?

Yes I like that idea too that you can send a little "treat" as well. Because not having some chocolate/candy at Christmas is just wrong! lol |

ooookay, yesterday I had to send stuff to Iran and was shocked by the prices of the German Post. So I looked them up again and came to the conclusion that (since I'm still waiting for the approval of my student's grant) I'm out.
But I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Santa-idea, it sounds fun :-) |
