"Wonder" by R.J. Palacio
First I didn't want to read it (I often react that way when a book is on display *everywhere*). Now I'm glad I did - it's a beautiful story.
Right now I'm reading "The Book Thief" by Markus Zuzak.
That book WONDER is everywhere. Some of the primary school students are reading that book and come into the library raving about it. I didn't think it would be my cup of tea.
The book thief is in that pile I was talking about ;) |

I started Christine Falls today. So far, so good, we'll see how it continues!
Edit: finished it two days ago and really enjoyed it! Today I started The Bone Collector. Watched the film a few years ago but I don't remember much so it'll be like a new story for me. |

Just reading the reviews for Station Eleven, Peewee, it sounds great! I will add it to my 'to read' pile.
I'm trying to read a book a week this year, so I have found some I loved and some downright horrendous ones.
I'm 50+ pages into Peter James' Perfect People - liking it so far, not too taxing.
I'm working my way through Lee Child's back catalogue.
I really enjoyed Stephen King's Mr Mercedes, Sarah Waters' Affinity and loathed The Ice Twins by SK Tremayne (really can't understand why it got good reviews). |
