I forgot to post about this one when I saw it, but I saw 50/50 with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen. It was great. It's a cancer comedy, or really a dramedy. Lots of funny parts, but very real and serious. It is about a guy with cancer. I'd definitely watch it again.
Also, this past weekend I saw The Descendents with George Clooney. Also another really good one. Great performances. It's about a guy whose family owns a lot of land in Hawaii and they have to decide what to do with it. Meanwhile his wife was in a boating accident and he has to take care of his daughters. It was great. |

Something Borrowed.
I agree with Gosia - the movie sends a terrible message. I like Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski, but I want to forget about this film asap.
Oh, and I watched One Day. Well parts of it. I basically had to mute it every time Anne Hathaway said sth in that awful awful "accent". I didn't like the book, but the movie is ten times worse!!! Lone Scherfig, what have you done!? |

More like the boat that stank of fucking piss, shite film, you'd be better off sticking on a 60's mix tape, it's utter shite, a non existing storyline with 20 fucking stupid sub plots that are there just as filler. It is basically an excuse to be nostalgic, It really is fucking shite. Bill Nighy & Philip Seymour Hoffman are excellent but even they can't save this steaming pile of arse gravy.

Its been awhile since I've seen this one. Its a very dark comedy from the late 80's but I still think its awesome.
Also, I found out Kayte has quite the distaste for Christian Slater. WTF?! haha |

Finally got around to watching 28 Days Later last week. I was quite impressed, I liked how it was more subtle in certain ways than other zombie movies. Or maybe it's just that the only other zombie movies I've seen in the past year have been comedies...Either way, tis a good movie.
