I really dislike new equipment but it is really getting to the point where I might need new gloves

Oh girlfriend, get a new glove already! lol. That looks like it'd be painful. Lots of blisters! Keep the old one in your locker for good luck. :)
This is what happens when Crosby gets outplayed. He throws a temper tantrum and crosschecks at the end of a game like a little biotch. End of game scrum + glove in face! |

they dont hurt and there are no blisters. Just could get my hand sliced open at some point.
and...locker? This isnt the NHL kiddo :P
New gloves SUCK! they are so stiff. When I got new ones as a kid my dad would make me sleep with them on my hands, but i'd always wake up with them on the floor. Good idea, dad. Although not as bad as breaking in skates, or a new baseball glove. |

Nothing really happens in this that I havent seen a million times before, but it gave me goosebumps.
The power of hockey. And Messier

There is also a "What if Bourque didn't believe in One More Year" which I know will make Nikki angry because it is Sakic handing over the cup to Ray Bourque, but it was one of the great moments in Stanley Cup celebration history. Although Im pretty sure I was cheering for the Devils that year. |

Headed to ottawa in less than 2 hours and the mayor just declared Saturday DANIEL ALFREDSSON DAY!!!! AHHHHH.
I didnt pack my jersey because we made awesome custom Alfie tshirts for the game, but I think I need to go home and get it now, in case there is a ceremony at city hall or something! |

Woohoo! What a great game today. Chicago doesn't scare me one little bit! Bring on Phoenix!
From a season that started out with 10 of our regular starters out of the lineup due to injuries, we've come a long way and fought back to the 5th seed! That's damn impressive. Plus...ten 100+ point seasons in a row and 19 straight visits to the playoffs - best in ALL sports.
I believe it is destiny! The cup will be ours again, oh yes. Let the playoffs begin!!!!!!!! GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Destiny Doesnt Decide Who Wins :P
Just got home from Ottawa. The Sens played like crappola, but the Alfie ceremony was lovely. Now they best beat the Pens. Habs gave me a scare but scraped into the playoffs in the last game. eff. |

Dear hockey:
You are breaking my heart. Our relationship used to be so easy and carefree. Can't we be friends again? I'll bake you cookies.
Sincerely,
Kristy |

Kristy, I am sad. Your Habs were supposed to take out Ovechkin and your Sens were supposed to take out Crosby. Fail. :/
Kayte...a little late night lucky laundry for you? ;)

I can probably scrounge up enough laundry for tonight. Whites tend to be luckiest. |
