I realised (again) that it's not humanly possible (for me *sigh*) to pass my politics exam next week.
I mean, I LIKE the subject. I like reading about U.S.politics, I really do. But how am I supposed to know SO MUCH about it all of a sudden...
plus, I'm afraid the professor likes to ask questions about political culture. if he does that, we're doomed, because you can write twenty pages on that topic and still fail the exam.
ARGH.
PLUS, THIS is frustrating me (it's a great great great programme/offer, making Ivy-League-lectures available online etc, but it's so frustrating to see with how much... effort and enthusiasm those professors present their topics. When we did (the basics of) Game Theory here, I fell asleep. Even though I thought the subject was interesting. It was just impossible to listen to the professor without feeling an urgent need to rest a bit... wouldn't have happened in this class.

he's has a mind as sharp as a knife..which allows him to be sarcastic and ironic all the time...love it :)

My washer broke and that's the bloody icing on the cake today! So I went to the Laundrette and did my wash and was feeling really down, fed up and lonely then I struck up conversation with an interesting woman who was an outreach worker and I chatted for ages with her . So mostly it's been a shit day full of negatives but out of something bad something good happened. |

Haha, I thought you said your water broke and was like "you're worried about your cloths?!"
I made a lemon meringue pie today, except I didn't have enough lemons, so I used orange juice instead. I ate too much of it though, now I can't even look at it! |

I HATE SHOPPING.
You know what bothers me? Families that shop together. Do you really need mom, dad, two brothers, sister, sister's boyfriend and grandma at Wal-Mart? I can't even get through the aisle! Sheesh.
Do people have to wear those ear piece cell phones things? You're not Borg on Star Trek, we don't all need to be interconnected at all times. It freaks me out.
Sales guy: Thank you for showing me where the batteries are, but will you now stop talking and get out of the way so I can choose what I want?
Ughhhhh. |

That's something I don't get either, why all the family have to shop together??? That's what I hate the most about shopping, I have to deal with people... and I'm not a person who likes too much people xD. |

I agree. Also, what is with the people who run into someone they know at the store and decide to talk and catch up right in the middle where everyone is walking. I can't even go to the mall anymore because it drives me crazy. |

Met a friend for breakfast and then enjoyed Paris rain on the way home.
Slept a little in the afternoon and listened to the radio.

I've bought a new widget that I'm very proud of! :)
It's a Creative Zen X-fi mediaplayer(a lot like an I-pod, but better ;)) Very cool! It won a prize for best image and sound 2008!
I've never owned a proper mp3-player before so this is a new experience for me, it has a lot of cool functions and the design is really nice! Only problem is that I have to charge it for 4 hours now, but then I'll fill it with Travis :D
The memory is 16 GB, but you can upgrade it with a memory card :) |
