I'm visiting my sister and her family =) She has a lovely toddler who's about 2 years and he totally adores me, we play all day long! She also has a sauna and I freakin luuuuuurve it! I'm starting too think that it's way too hot though. Does anyone know if 160 C is a normal temperature for a sauna? |

160 C° ????? not Fahrenheit?
Are you sure?
With water in the middle? And you're not boiled yet?
I'd like to have you medium - plz...if that's alright...
haha
Normally a sauna has a temp between 80°-100°....
I totally dislike it though, since I'm oversensitive to heat.... |

I completely agree with Nora! I can't stand the heat.
Another subway story... Today, Tim Rice-Oxley's twin brother was sitting in front of me. He looked just like his lost brother, except his lips were thicker and Tim's hair is darker. I stared the whole trip. Poor guy, lol! |

No it's 160 C°, I double-checked it ;) I'm very heat- resistant, but this was almost TOO hot even for me :P
Well it's really not THAT hot..If you put something in the oven at 150 C°, it takes like 8-9 hours for it to get done. As long as the heart manages to keep up the blood circulation it's really not dangerous to be in that kind of temperature for 30 minutes. If you would die in the sauna it would probably be because the heart can't cope with it. |

I think about 80 °C is nice, even 100 °C is too hot.
There's been cases when drunk people have fallen asleep in a sauna and were found in the morning, cooked. |

So are you saying that I shouldn't have a sauna at 160 C? |

Hehe, that very much depends on what you're making! I made the nicest crumble today (which only taste 15mins). I made the recipe up myself, it's fat free and sugar free (I substitute honey in for everything). It tastes just as nice :)
It was snowing so much here this morning! Well, other people wouldn't think it much, but it looked so pretty :) Everyone in my class was getting all excited and looking out the windows, like 5 year olds. We're 17! |

Haha seriously: where do you live and which is your subway-route? :)
I checked in our indoor swimming pool (where I was yesterday) they have a constant temp of 90°- (boiling water is way worse than wet air like that..-so you're not cooking yet - but about Alex I'm not sure...160°C is....hehe...)
hate heat....
Today: I had the most funniest school day. My Latin-Tutor and I went (after the first 2 hours) out for a drink (he's like 25) and it was hilarious! So great! (yeah...I skipped all the rest of the day - but it totally was worth it...) |

Well I'm not an expert in science, I'm only telling you what the thermometer showed :P
It's probably not the same thing to be in the sauna at 100 degrees celcius as it is to put some water on the cooker at 100 degrees celcius. In that case it would be unbearable to have a sauna at all...I can't explain it better, hope someone can help us out! It was pretty darn hot, that's all that I know :P |

My youngest son did an enormous fart in the doctors waiting room ...it was so quiet and I was so embarrased and as a result my blood pressure reading was high...
Kids certainly keep life interesting.

I live in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires and I take the Line A (it's the one in which we shot parts of our Song To Self video)... which right now is working worse than ever :oP.
Is this the Latin tutor you have a crush on? :o) |
