Kodachrome
I've heard this song a billion times but honestly never knew the title. When I found out the title (ummm....this weekend) I realized oops my words weren't right.
Going home
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, oh yeah
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama don't take my home away
And then this other part:
Mama don't take my coat and throw it away
Mama don't take my coat and throw it away
Mama don't take my coat and throw it away

Anne and Kristy, I will not desert you. You obviously need more rhymin' Simon in your life. Today, you are to listen to 50 Ways to Leave your Lover.
Anne, in your defense, after reading the Wiki article, the song was originally going to be called Going Home. Paul changed it because he thought it was too conventional. |

Thank you Kayte. What makes this situation painfully embarrassing is that I grew up listening to Paul Simon/ Simon and Garfunkel constantly. In fact on a road trip from Florida to Michigan my parents played "Graceland" so many times I wanted to throw it out the window.
I think maybe because my parent's played his music so much I never explored it myself, never had to look at albums. It was just on in my house. Almost daily. |

My mom would remember better but apparently when I was younger I said, "put on the song where he tells boys how to get rid of girls" |

James Bond
The Lyrics are "James Bond, The Killer" for years for some weird reason I thought it was James Bond, Tequilla.

My son thought today that Kaiser Chiefs sing in "Angry Mob" " You can chew anything", sort of makes senseā¦
Really it's "You can choose anything" |
