My first Travis song I ever heard was WHY DOES IT ALWAYS RAIN ON ME? on MTV and I remember thinking back then: "Well, that's depressing!" lol. Now it's one of my favourite songs!

| It was probably More Than Us when it was a single being played on the radio when I was at College in 1998, that's the first time I can remember noticing them. I had a compilation tape with it on too, and I can remember loving it. I didn't become a proper fan / take my love for Travis seriously though until hearing the Writing To Reach You / Driftwood / WDIAROM? singles on the radio in 1999. But the first single I actually got around to buying was Turn later that year. My older sister bought me The Man Who for my birthday in 2000, and I have loved them ever since. Since then they've been my number one band, buying all of their albums and singles. |
