Deep Purple yesterday in Córdoba
Although I'm not very keen on hard rock, I really enjoyed the show. And the band seemed to be enjoying as well. Their performance was great in spite of some technical problems and their age! So if you have the opportunity of seeing them, do it.
I give them 9,5/10.
(0.5 less because of the fans I had behind that soaked me with beer). |

Johnny Winter, yesterday in Córdoba (Spain)
Amazing! His band is composed by great musicians and Johnny played and singed so good, despite his health problems.
This blues genius deserve 10/10. |

Joe Bonamassa, yesterday, Córdoba, Spain
He is a god of the guitar, but the concert was a bit boring, maybe I was too tired... 8/10 |

Didn't like the songs , didn't like the singer , didn't like her over exajerated performince . Didn't like jack whites banter . if i paid for a ticket i would have been upset . My musical tastes are all over the place but even though the band was a tight well precissioned machine i couldn't get into it . To me they're like this years Audioslave |

Irene, why were there so many concerts in Córdoba in the last few days? |

Placebo, yesterday, Córdoba (Spain)
Not bad, I hadn't listened to them so much and I only knew 3 songs. They played 2 of them (not For What It's Worth, which was my favourite one) and Nirvana's All Apologies. The sound wasn't very good and we could hardly hear the voice of Brian Molko. I took cool photos, though.
7/10

Because of the Guitar Festival. The last concert is the Mark Knopfler one, tomorrow :) |

March 2010 - Kings of Convenience (Malaysia)
I just can't stop listening to the sound of two soft voices blended in perfection! Lovely boys but they weren't too happy when people started snapping photographs during the show. Erlend politely asked the crowd to stop taking photos and just enjoy the show for the first 30 minutes at least. We happily complied. 8.5/10.
April 2010 - Stereophonics (Malaysia)
It was a good show. Kelly was in top form and he performed 24 songs with a good mix from all the albums. Will be seeing them again this October when they play Indonesia's Java Rockin'land Festival. Overall 8/10.
August 2010 - Kula Shaker (Malaysia)
Man, I didn't know they still exist! LOL. Apparently they've just released a new album this year. It was a rather intimate show as the crowd was very small, maybe less than 500 people. Tattva sounded sooooo good, even after all these years. I give them 7/10.
August 2010 - Belle and Sebastian (Singapore)
Finally get to see them after years of listening to their brilliant records. I didn't know they (particularly Stuart and Stevie) could be so funny! How we all laughed at their antics and jokes. The setlist was perfect and I was almost in tears when Judy and the dream of horses came on. Definitely a 10/10! :D |
