what a shame :s
OMG, I have to admit I LOVE that song too. It's even on my ipod, lol. Im trying to thing..hmm, most things im not too ashamed of. I mean, i was 13-16 or so during the BSB, Nsync craze so those were probably my worst. A quick scroll through the ipod reveals some Bon Jovi and some Take That, but im not too ashamed.
As for that stupid Nickleback song, it makes no sense! "We'll all stay skinny cuz we just wont eat" but it also says something about "I'll have the quasadilla." NO SONG SHOULD TALK ABOUT QUASADILLAS! They are to be eaten, not sung about. And how are you not eating if you are having the quasadilla? bah! Im ashamed that Wayne Gretzky, a hero to Canadians everywhere, is in the music video. |

There is nothing quite like long haired rockers harmonizing in black and white.
I dont think i'd ever listened to the lyrics that closely. Does he really say: "so build up your confidence so you can be on top for once." hahahaha |

I heard that on the way to work the other day and blared it on my stereo and sang at the top of my lungs!
I like your guilty pleasures Lauren! They are fun! |

Oh I've got loads... let's see...
Candy Rain - Soul for Real: This song reminds me of the show All That, because they were one of the first musical guests. I still love it even though the lyrics were a little wack:
My love
Do you ever dream of
candy coated rain drops
You're the same my candy rain
WHAT? Solid fried pop gold that's what!
No Diggity - Blackstreet: Not guilty. This song is banging. And Nikki and Dak agree with me. I know because I've pimped this one out one too many times on the Nighttime board. |

You guys got to listen to music during lunch? Lucky...
I love some old school Mariah Carey. That's definitely a guilty pleasure. I can't stand her now
Emotions: This one is a belter fo' sho. Ahem': YOU! GOT ME FEELIN' EEE MO SHUNS!!!
Dreamlover: Another case of solid fried pop gold. Totally went around wearing a tied up flannel and pigtails
Fantasy: This was one of my first CDs. Love the Tom Tom Club sample.
One Sweet Day: My next guilty pleasure list is totally going to be Boyz II Men. This song was soooo good. It set a record for number of weeks at #1 or something. Anyways... another shower belter.
Always Be My Baby: Probably my favorite Mariah Carey tune. This was a car tune for me. I saw the video and thought, "I wanna go to summer camp and fall in love!!!" I was 8 at the time btw.. |

aww, when Mariah Carey wasnt crazy!
Want me to admit that I went to a Boyz II Men concert not that long ago when I was visiting a former roommate? It was HILARIOUS. And at a casino. They were pretty good, I have to admit though. One Sweet Day..amazing. On Bended Knee..that talking part, gets me every time! |
