Very Stylish, but I prefer, Luc Beson or Jean-Jacques Beineix for my films. Anne Parillaud and Béatrice Dalle are amazing leading ladies. |

Luc Besson made really good films in the80's and early 90's...now his productions are terrible.
Beineix's "Diva" is a masterpiece.
Beatrice Dalle is one of my favorite actress ever. She's very gifted and sensitive and an "all or nothing" kind of person. I admire her a lot.
You should see "17 fois Cécile Cassard"

Anne Parillaud isn't as talented.

Yeah Besson's earlier stuff(Subway, Leon, Nikita) seems to have a darker side to it, one of the things I like a lot about French Cinema, after he made it big he seems to go for the more hollywood approach.
I also think Jean Reno is incredibly talented, even though he mostly plays hitmen, Christopher Lambert and Gérard Depardieu are not bad but the best has to go to Jean Hughes Anglade (spelling??) |
