I'll take that as a compliment!

I need Steph to come on and say that I sound completely normal.

Absolutely, Indisputably normal. I thought Canadians were the only people in the world withOUT an accent...(i realize that to anyone self they dont really have an accent) but, i mean, who actually says "Im gooin, oot and aboot to catch beavers in Happy-Valley-Goose Bay" ...Though my hist of law prof actually does say oot. which is funny.
and unfortunately I do say rubber boot, but maybe ill start calling them Wellys...its sounds cooler

thank you! I knew the voice of reason would come from a Canadian!
Ya, wellie is more fun!
and Happy Valley Goose Bay is in Labrador, right? So...they make actually sound like that there, lol. The accent of Labrador doesnt do a lot for the stereotypes of our nation.

Canadian pronounciation is the best, even though I get half of it bad because of my french.
And milk bags aren't crazy. There just... original.

Yay!, now I am someone's hero!

Okay, I did it. I made a video of me saying all the words that Canadians apperently say...oddly that were supplied by Kayte, Nikki and Darran.
Try not to mock the sad pathetic Canadian girl too much. I felt like a tool making this.

I can't think of a way to write the difference.

Okay, I'm going to make a video response to Kristy's video. But I can't do it today. This weather has me all stuffed up and I'd sound like I have beans shoved up my nose.

Is boot-showing a new requirement in our pronunciation videos? Ha ha! It was fun to wear those boots again. I hadn't worn them in YEARS. I had to use a suede brush to get the dust off of them.

Please PM me how to add music to a video, I've never done that on a video, just a slideshow.

Yes, boots required. Winter, fringe, wellie, football. Any boots will do.
PM sent.
