so today Anne has made her husband, Kayte, Nikki and Jolene hate her! What a busy day you have had! lol

It's out of love. They will truly enjoy my attempt at a midwestern accent when we meet.

And for the record, Nikki's accent is lovely. I am making fun of people who live in Pontiac.*

*that is, Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhneaaaaacccck

Mocking is the true sign of love.

Especially when you laugh directly in your husband's face.
Another reason that Anne is my hero (did you see the list we started of reason's why you are our hero?).

Apperently I, and my CDN people say Detroit wrong?

I do laugh directly in his face. A lot.

I really love him a lot, don't I?!

But truly he does like it. He's pretty shy so I help him come out of his shell. He has no choice.

Yes. Please refer to "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" to hear a perfect Canadian pronunciation of Deteroi-it. Canadians add an extra syllable.

In a musty old hull in Detroi-it they prayed
In the Maritime Sailors Cathedral.

You also pronounce funnily:
Aboot (or sometimes Aboat)
Sorey
Process (long o)

This isn't the best place for this but I don't want to start a new thread. But I had to share this funny. My brother just emailed me asking, "am I missing something or did Aidan send me this?"

Apparently Aidan sent him this pic (from my iPhone) via email. No subject, no words, just the pic.

Please ignore the laundry. But it's a great shot of my old school radio console. Those tube speakers are the best! It was modern enough to where we have it hooked up to the DVD player for great sound on movies. It has an 8-track, record player, and tuner.

I saw praw-cess, but on the Canadian food commercials, they're always talking about "pro-cessed cheese."

It took him 20 takes and an on-set speech pathologist to get him to stop saying "aboot" both times. "I say aboot, not aboot!"

I shake my fist at you!
ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT ABOUT!

AND IT IS PROUNOUNCE ZED, NOT ZEE, ZED!

Im pretty sure i have that whole thing memorized and it might go down as one of the most popular commericals ever in Canada. There are a whole series of them (not Joe, but that kinda patrioticy theme. Im going to use the song from one for my FT video. Since I think Im the only CDN stop. Oh there Ontario songs though...hmmm) that are great.
