Weekends games usually 5000 which is a sellout as the arena won't put one of the end seats out.
Midweek is about 3000 due to faceoff at 1930 and folks getting from work etc as they come from all over Northern Ireland. |

Avs-Wings? Pul-ease! A rivilry with an expansion team can only be so great.

Ohhh...no you didn't. LOL. :P Hold on there, boardie twin. Now, being that Detroit is part of the Original Six, I agree that there is nothing like a good ol' Original Six hockey game. But now that the league has 30 teams and the scheduling these past few seasons was done by monkeys, we barely ever get to play our Original Six rivals in the East, like Toronto. The Wings-Avs rivalry was one of the best sports rivalries EVER. In any sport. It produced the BEST hockey brawl EVER (March 26, 1997 @ The Joe - Vernon v. Roy...McCarty beating the snot out of Claude Lemieux for his hit on Kris Draper), not to mention a pretty sweet rematch when Ozzie and Roy squared off, as well as some of the most exciting hockey games I've ever seen. |

im not saying that your rivaly isnt real, im just saying it cant compare to a rivaly that has been going on for a gazzilon years! It has the POTENTIAL to be one of the best rivalries. It's like the Sens-Leafs rivalry. It is amazing and crazy to go to those games. The building is buzzing and the fans/teams HATE each other. The Battle of Ontario. But it is what...15 years old? Cant compare to Habs-Leafs.
oh goalie fights! Best thing ever! The Emery one in Buffalo last year was pretty awesome. Smiling the whole time. his mom was at the game though and was NOT happy.
