Alright, it is 5:30am and I sit here straightening my hair. You people are lucky that I love you, because I hate mornings with a passion. Goal is to be on the road by 6. I might just make it!

Hi guys
Nik and I are at the hotel and waiting for Ms Turtle and then headed downtown to see Anniepants and family.
The drive wasnt bad, but the border patrol people werent nice to me.
Usually they just ask, "where are you going? For how long? What for?" and then send you on your way.
This time it was all that plus "have you ever been arrested? Why were you in Buffalo a month ago? Turn off your vehicle and hand over your keys" and then started searching my car! he went in the backseat and started going through my bag and then went in the trunk, where he would hvae found my wellies, Cranium and my tripod.
Twas scary for a wee little Canadian.
Oh look, Nikki just posted.

Only you could make baked goods sound filthy. No, Anne could as well.
Nikki and I are complete dorks and had the same sandwich for lunch, the same smoothie and bought the same AWESOME bracelet. We are allowed to do this because we live in different countries.
Kayte endured some shopping with us, went home for a bit and is joining us later for the game. And Anne's children were rightfully scared of us at lunch.
Oh, and I bought shoes.

So we are back from our shopping adventure! We're resting a bit before the hockey game. Here's some pics of what we did today in downtown Ann Arbor:
