Does that have anything to do with the movie of the same name with Bruce Dern and Kirk Douglas? Because I remember being quite impressed by that one. Would recommend it, was made in the 70s I think.

(Posse, that is)

Nope, this one was made in 1993 by the same guy who did New Jack City. It really is terrible, Billy Zane must be one of the most talentless arseholes it has ever been my displeasure to set eyes upon.

In keeping with the theme...

I really liked it, was a bit hard to follow though. Casey Affleck was pretty good in it.

The analysis is shallow, but I guess it's a good thing to watch if you're used to hearing lies about South America, like considering Chávez and Morales as dictators. I guess this film makes more sense if you're not from South America. For any South American person who is not a right wing corporations lover, it doesn't say anything we didn't already know. Everyone knows Chávez and Evo aren't dictators... unless you're part of the population who's been brainwashed by the media, or a true loyal supporter of neoliberalism and IMF policies...
The only thing that surprised me is finding out that Evo Morales has a bad image in the US. I didn't know that.

Anyway, it's not a great film. But it's always nice listening to Evo or Correa. I love them both! :o)

Edit: Now I remembered that Bush film he made. W. Maybe that's Oliver Stone's style: doing shallow critical films...

it's cute, although I dont think I liked it as much as the first 2. But I havent seen either in a while, so I cant really compare. The short at the begining is steller, and there is a UNICORN! Worth seeing.

Kristy now that you have seen the movie where do you stand now on the gay Ken issue?

We just saw

It was fun. Good popcorn movie. Only one part that was too outrageous even in the suspended disbelief realm.

Speaking of the A-Team movie...I was watching the Rocker yesterday and I didn't realize that Bradley Cooper was in that. (Didn't recognize him!)

Anyways, I've been on a terrible romcom kick. I watched Valentines Day and When in Rome....then I watched the Ugly Truth which is was the Terriblest of all. (The other two were alright for what they are, but this one I actually got worked up enough to hate it. ;) But like a trainwreck I couldn't stop watching.

I actually had a sort of movie train going on this week now that I think about it I was watching Valentines Day first which had Bradley Cooper in it, and then I watched the Rocker that he was in with Will Arnett, then I watched When in Rome w/ Will Arnett and John Heder and then I watched Blades of Glory which also stars Will Arnett and John Heder

I think I broke the chain after that because the next movie I watched was the Ugly Truth which was just a vortex of suck. ;)

A not bad "mind candy" film. It's also quite amusing in places the Japanese guy doing Ray Charles is a good scene.
