A friend of mine likes to spend her summer vacation there, working on a farm. she obviously loves it. another friend once went there to plant trees and we didn't here from him for a month. he came back, though ;)
and one of my colleagues went there last summer with her family, the pictures she showed us were SO beautiful!
so, wooohooo! You're REALLY going to Iceland! Write a blog there, together, will you?

I was thinking of both of you in my recent visit to the new Topshop Trinity at Leeds. It was so HUGE it took my daughter and I three visits to take it all in (well, two, but then she wanted to go back for something, we also went to another, smaller branch…). |

Lil, we would NEVER joke about something as serious as Iceland. Generally, if I talk about going/moving places I mean it. If I'm ever on about being in a relationship though - that's most likely just crazy talk.

Meggy found an article about how Iceland publishes more book per capita than any other country. One of the surprise best sellers of a few years ago was an illustrated book about tractors. Aren't these people amazing!
I know of Icelandic horses, but not sheep. I bet they are cute! Oh, I did see a picture of a dude rescuing an Iceland sheep after a snowstorm. |
