Mean guy cross checks me
With his long hard wooden stick
Put bad boy in box |

Kayte isn't exactly thrilled about it either.
Kristy, you are a genius writer. You have missed your calling. "A nation pees pants." That is pure gold, baby!
Let me try:
Ozzy stands by goal
How do you stay so limber?
Butterflies are free
Broken sticks on ice
Please be careful; do not trip
Balsa wood too cheap
A bridge, a partial
Or maybe a complete set
Game time, they stay home |

Well done Kayte. Your second one especially made me laugh. It was very "mom" to worry about their safety. |

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Are you kidding me? The Devils? Ok I've got a haiku for this one:
Three cups with the Wings
The Devils are evil things
Why, Shanahan, why?

Well my knowledge of hockey is quite limited so I have no choice but to be dirty.
About your first one, does the line "butterflies are free" mean something or is that a non sequitur? |

"Butterfly" is the name of a position some goalies use. Ozzy took lessons to master it.
