He's talking shite. Ignore him. I was there and it was a pretty good gig!
Last time I checked, people were allowed to have an opinion... I was at the Liquid Rooms gig and it really wasn't anywhere near as good as when I saw them in Liverpool - it took ages to be let inside then the show took about a year and a half to actually start and not all of us were front row center. I was back and to the side and the sound was off, people were pushy and I had beer thrown on me. All i'm saying is that he should be able to say what he likes - even if it doesn't agree with you.
Yeah great how only one person's opinion counts...
Ah cheer up |

Stereophonics in Belfast emmmm forget the year.
I got food poisoning from a burger and basically swayed through the first half then spent the second half in the loos with head down the toilet and security giving me water! :-( |

Aida, Caird Hall, Dundee, March 2007
The music and concert were REALLY good, but I think a lot of it was spoiled by the lady who played Aida - she was REALLY old and the story didn't make sense since the opera is about a young, fresh, beautiful girl with an innocent voice. But this woman was probably nearing 60 and I understand in the theatre they can't always get eveything they want/need, but I think this was fairly critical to the centrality of the plot...
The Guy in love with her was half her age and forfeiting his actual bride-to-be who was also half her age...
I suppose its about like Shakespeare's old plays where no one was the right age, gender or ethnicity...och well |
