those are just the least favourites
doesn't mean that they are bad or I hate those songs
just....those are some songs that I often skip |

None really, Travis have a remarkable knack of writing songs that are all enjoyable in at least one way.
- Paperclips, it's just a bit depressing and is lacking a bit of an edge I suppose.
- Funny Thing sounds a little dated to me, only heard it for the first time last year - kinda would've been cool when it was first released but 11 years on it's nothing too special.
- We Are Monkeys is probably my Least Favourite - just a little bit too cheesy...

I think Paperclips for me, the angular clarinet solo bit is just a bit....well too angular and odd. I guess that was the effect they were looking for.
The only other one is Rock N Salad Roll, but I doubt we're meant to take that one too seriously. The cat flaps flap bit is funny though I guess |

"I don't want to be like you, anymore..."
I think Paperclips is a positive song. It's a decision to be unlike a person who was bad to you. Surely that's not depressing?? |

For every record just one song:
More than us
Turn
Afterglow
Happy to hang around
One night
I also love Coming around

For me, probably Mid-Life Krysis, it's awkward and a bit angular compared to Travis' silky smooth normal sound.

Nooo! Just no! ILYA is one of the best songs ever by anyone! Don't you like the loooooong, heart-melting notes?
Also, whoever said The Distance is very wrong indeed.

I must say this is a bit of a scary thread. Especially as some songs I find particularly good are frequently listed. But anyway, I though it could be fun to invest some time in finding my own non-favourites, and here they are:
How Many Hearts
Midsummer Nights Dreamin'
The Great Unknown
Me Beside You
When I'm Feeling Blue
I wouldn't say I dislike any of them, though. I guess I just haven't figured out how to best enjoy them yet. |

The Great Unknown is brilliant. Better than 4 songs at least on TBWNN.
And no, I don't like I Love You Anyways. :p Its ok I suppose but I'd normally skip it. :) |

Considering album tracks only:
The beautiful occupation (12 memories version) is probably my least favourite, however, the acoustic version released earlier was one of my favourites at the time.
Peace the f*ck out
Selfish Jean
Also, one that I didn't see in anyone else's list: tied to the 90's
